I was scroling through my google documents then I came to the best one “A LETTER TO MY DAUGHTER ON HER 4TH BIRTHDAY”. Its marked a good memory for me and my firstborn and daughter. I read through it quiet loudly twice and felt like sharing it to you.

It says;

To the reigning queen Meghan Reinah,

I Hellen your mother, wish you a Happy 4th Birthday my Princess!!  I wish I could bottle you up and keep you my little one forever.

The 3rd November reminds me of everything about us within the whole 9 months. A period of which we shared everything. I remember how you liked pineapples ha haaaa…… A period when I used to sleep a lot more than ever and you were such a genius to help me succeed whatever I did awake. I never felt alone with your quickening and fluttering inside me. A period when we missed each other yet we all had to wait. When I first saw you, you were perfect more than a million times as I used to imagine. From then, My love for you peaked.

It have been four years since I first met and held you in my arms. My eyes met your little face at your very fast cry and it was incredibly clear that you were a very beautiful heavenly gift to me. Your too small tiny hands were clenched into fists that you rhythmically threw up in the air. You were quietly gandering your small hazel eyes and your little perky ears listened to everything around you. Your reflexes clearly won an APGAR of ten. Till this day, that is precisely who you are, since I met you.

I am very grateful to have watched you flower into such a loving, brilliant, determined, caring, empathetic, feisty,  funny little girl. With your bubbly personality, I like the way you instantly grab everyone’s attention whenever you are. You are always updated and you literally never miss a beat! You’ve got it, and you own it and that my dear is what I love most about you darling.

Within these 4 years, I’ve learned alot about caring for someone more than I care for myself. You’ve inspired me to find humor in the most vexatious moments and  practice patience. You always helped me find strength on the days when I thought I was too weak. You’ve even forced me to be more courageous than I ever did

My soul echoes your name all day, and my heart always dances because of you. I like hearing your small footsteps towards my room every morning saying Mama Bwakeye it makes me feel like I’m the luckiest person alive. Whenever you ask me duteke iki shows me how responsible you are. Leslys is a lucky little sister, I like the way you act as an elder sister, advocating for her and keeping an eye on her like no one else.

My little one till forever, I wish you every blessing that the heavens can deliver.

I thank God, I am a blessed mother,

I will always be there for you, I promise!

I LOVE YOU!!!
